This time of year, many people like to travel to warmer places. We pick a destination with the promise of blue skies, warm waters, and maybe some warm sand for our toes. Then we load up the car and set off on the open road, leaving all the cold weather behind, looking for rest and relaxation.

Sometimes we anticipate life being something like that once we have said yes to Jesus and decide to follow Him. But it isn’t that easy. We may experience roadblocks, road rage, or feel lost and alone. Other times, we may feel like we are stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire in the pouring rain. Frustrated, disillusioned, and lonely, the question echoes in your head, “Where is God taking me and why is it so hard?”

Whether you are new to faith, checking out faith, or have been following Jesus for years, there are answers, directions, and rest areas in the letter that Peter, one of Jesus' closest friends, wrote. Join us for our series based on 1 Peter, Traveler: Where is God taking me?
